April is a month   for the sri lankan people who highly celebrate it not only Sinhalese people but Tamil people also enjoy it , when you make a round tour around the country , one could see how people even children and all enjoy with the new year time specially on 13 and 14 , according to the auspicious time gent and ladies follow the activities that are descending from  their ancestors. Last bath for old year , clearing house , making a fire for new year rice (kiribath) , eating together with their family , transaction money , giving cloth for their elders , oil anointment , leaving for the job all thing done according to the auspicious time.

I here  show you one photo that asking for the new year prince to come to their home and eat their food offer by the head of the family (invisible prince ) , among villagers having that sense new year prince will come to their home and accepted their food and bless them. In addition to this there are many event could be seen on villages. it is really impressive and enchanting as those predominantly hang on it their tradition and culture .

Dambulla cave temple

Here the third day of the tour 2024.04.18 , on our way to Kandy never forget to visit golden temple in (cave temple ) history goes back to first century .Best preserve paintings with statue . I hope king Walagmba and Nissankamalla who patronage for this place and there many clues that during the kandy regime renovate this enchanting place ,      

  Monk and people ready for pirith chanting activity as there were long drought season prevailing in dambulla and north aria , people have great belief that when chanting held definitely get the rain , proving that heavy rain experience by those arias .

Here are people decorate the vehicle with banana plant with many fruits hanging around . The having a sentiment that god will attract to the smell of fruit . God will happy   when you invoke  blessing  with prith chanting  so that they bless . any how finishing with drought seasons more rain to be experienced .

Starting from Beruwala led to the Dambulla , our frist destination was hotel Sadadiya very close to Sigiriya , as we all know Sigiriya is a well know world heritage city implies that the skill of architecture of our ancestors, being two days in Dambulla we enterd the Polonnaruw  second kingdom of  sri lanka formed by a great king Parakkarabahu the great.

once we finished the polonnaruwa ancient cite ,feeling hungry and moved up to the "katukitula " restaurant near by , they offered us sri lankan oriented food , our guest are really satisfied wit their food , hope they will get more client attraction in due course ,

 i completed a four tour with mr. Kennth Nalaboff who is a doctor from   Israel  . SIgiiya , kandy , train ride , yala safari and Galle port  were our attracted places .
